5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHi, me and my sister are former students of Meeker Middle School. We enjoyed the school, but of course there are some casualties. Some of the good things are sports, lunch, extra curriculars, SOME teachers, and etc... The BAD things are fights, some teachers, most students (in sixth specifically), bathroom, drama (not the afterschool class though. they are amazing). Me (the sixth grader) personally does not like some of the teachers, specifically one of them. I won't drop names though. We enjoyed this school and would definitely recommend. Most students are friendly so it wouldn't be hard for other students to make friends. Overall, we rate this school a 4/5 stars.Other Review1y ago8 Reviews - Northeast Tacoma Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I’ve had several concerning experiences with this school that have left me feeling unsupported and overlooked.First, my daughter has been going through a difficult time, and after reaching out for help, I was told that schools typically have resources available. However, none were ever offered or mentioned to me. Whether those supports exist or not, the lack of communication made me feel like we were left to figure everything out on our own.Second, when my daughter started her first menstrual cycle at school, I had instructed her to go to the nurse. She did, but there was another situation involving a missing child, and her needs were overlooked. I was never notified and didn’t find out until months later, after she had gone through it alone and felt embarrassed. I understand emergencies happen, but this still warranted follow-up communication.Third, my daughter has been struggling with attendance. I’m doing my best to support her, but I need support from the school as well. There have been instances where she was marked present when she was actually absent, which raises concerns about accountability.I have only seen the school principal once, briefly in her office. As a parent, I would appreciate more visible leadership. That said, the school counselor is an absolute angel—kind, attentive, patient, and clearly hard-working. It feels like she truly does her best to support students, and I wish more staff interactions reflected that same level of care.Lastly, during my recent visits to the front office, I’ve noticed a lack of basic acknowledgment. When I say good morning, I’m often not responded to. I’m not expecting much—just a simple greeting. It may seem small, but those interactions set the tone and can contribute to feeling disconnected.Overall, communication, support, and attentiveness need improvement. I want my child to feel safe, supported, and seen—and right now, that hasn’t been our experience.Parent Review2mo ago14 Reviews - Stadium High School

"Lot of nice homes, but crime is getting worse. If zones for TPSD, high school students have a long by ride. "

"I see lots of dogs and while it is a gated community our backyard is not fenced and I have noticed lots of others aren’t as well. Inconvenient for my dog but it looks nice and dogs are very welcomed "

"It’s on the Northshore Golf Course, and it has a varied group of tenants. The scenery from the patios is green and peaceful, and the police regularly patrol the area."

"Neighbors help each. We let each other know of crime or events going on around the area. Being in this area is farther than I would like to be from work but the home values are strong while still being able to have space between our homes. "

"I've visited for weeks on end in this neighborhood. There is a Bark Park a couple of blocks away, as well as easy access to tons of trails and walking neighborhoods. I felt safe walking at night with my dog. The golf course is across the street and down a block or so!"
