They do AMAZING things with the little they receive from the school district, community, and federal, state, and local funding. However, at this school the parent involvement is minimal and almost half of the children are introduced to English, in a formal setting, for the first time. This has a negative effect on the impact on the learning process for all children within the school. Also, due to this school and school district having a large low income population, extra-curricular activities are minimal due to lack of funds. "Tons of stray dogs roaming around and some are aggressive, a lot of aggressive breeds too. Germans and pit bulls and yappy little chihuahuas. I’ve been chased to my door multiple times by dogs "
