The house is a quick drive to Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix, Facebook and many other tech companies in the Valley. Caltrain is a 5 minute walk and offers express service to San Francisco.

The house underwent a significant renovation in 2018. The home has three new bathrooms, laundry room, smart lighting (Lutron Caseta) and hardwood floors. The home is energy efficient with new large windows and dual zone AC/heat (smart thermostat) powered primarily by solar panels, minimizing your electric bill.

The renter has the option of adding a 600 square foot detached cottage to the lease for an additional $2,250 per month. The cottage is perfect for work from home office, live-in nanny quarters, and/or an in-law suite. The cottage includes a full kitchen, large master bedroom with bath and a den/office. The cottage has AC and heat.

The home boasts many large windows making it bright and airy. The large master bedroom has a walk in closet and spacious master bath with dual sinks and an oversized shower. Patio doors open from the master bedroom and family room to a spacious stone patio, providing the indoor/outdoor living that Californians love.

There are two large bedrooms in addition to the master with sizable closets. A large bathroom with a tub and dual sinks is great for kids. These rooms, as well as the master, have light blocking blinds for quality sleep.

A large sun-filled room in the front of the house makes a perfect playroom, additional family room or bedroom (there are two very large closets in the room). This could also be used as a large dining room given its proximity to the kitchen.

The kitchen has modern stainless-steel appliances including an oversized French side-by-side refrigerator with bottom freezer and water and ice in the door, double ovens and dishwasher. There is a walk-in pantry and ample space for a kitchen table. The kitchen overlooks the front yard where hummingbirds love to hang out by the flowering bushes.

An office nook with its own bathroom and entry is beside the kitchen. As mentioned, the family room in the back of the house opens onto a large stone patio, perfect for dining and entertaining year-round.

The sizable yard has a number of mature trees including orange, avocado and fig. The fig tree produces a bounty of fruit in the summer months. There are raised garden boxes with sprinklers and organic soil. The back yard is fenced.

A basement, accessed from the outside, provides an abundance of additional storage options. The AC/furnace and hot water heater are located here so that they don't take up any living space. There is also a new shed in the yard for additional storage space. There is a driveway for three cars including a carport and plenty of on street parking in front of the house.

Yard maintenance, water and trash/sewer are included in the monthly rent. No smoking allowed. We are able to do double masked in-person appointments or video walkthroughs if you are more comfortable with that or if you are not local.
