8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at this school 9 years between 2 kids and even Owls Nest. If you have a girl and she is a box kid, this is the school for you. If you have an out of the box kid who is a boy...stay far away. The administration is laughable. Their COVID in person is more like virtual as the older grades have 3 teachers but only one in person, the other 2 are viewed via smart board and teaching to over 100 kids at one time. Math via smartboard is pretty tough. You see no assignments until after your student takes exams and you have no idea what they are working on as there are no assignments that come home until after the fact. Discipline protocols are inconsistent and multi-part. Yet, the school failed my son on multiple occasions. In hindsight, I wish we had left for a different school while we had the chance.Parent Review3y ago

"I lived in this neighborhood for almost a year and the neighborhood is very friendly and everyone seems to mind their business and it’s very multi culture and I feel very safe in this neighborhood also you don’t have to leave your neighborhood for anything you have a variety of food restaurants and stores and also dog parks so basically there’s everything you need in this area"

"I think it’s a very dog friendly area. The community here is full of advocates for animals, especially dogs. Join the social media groups and you will feel good knowing if your dog were to get loose by accident there’s a slew of people with heart to help. "

"I worked in this area for several years, it is easy to get to from any part of town (or to get somewhere else from), traffic is tollerable nearly any hour of day, and there are usually several optional routes to come and go . 10 Minutes to medical center or greenway plaza, 20 minutes to downtown or galleria. Just a bikeride from Bellaire High School."
