"Lots of dog walkers, friendly neighbors! People are good about picking up dog poop-thankfully! Good mile loop and crossover to neighborhood across Brushy Creek which allows for 2.5 mile loop. "
  • Plagarenne
"No dog parks, dogs generally not welcomed warmly, many people upset if a dog goes to the bathroom on their yard even if owner picks up after their dog"
  • Zack
"I think they’d like it fine. You see people out walking their dogs around the neighborhood. And with the newer neighborhood that’s kind of attached to ours now, there’s a walk path back there to go on."
  • Jennifer.mcglon
"Neighbors walk their dogs. It’s a safe and welcoming area. A park within walking distance with a bike path is lovely. We enjoy living here."
  • Jennifer.mcglon
"Quiet little neighborhood but is growing nearby with many young families moving in! Neighbors get together."
  • Jennifer.mcglon
"Longer than average, but little traffic and a beautiful drive. Having moved from a major metro, I appreciate not being in bumper to bumper traffic full of angry drivers."
  • Prodemand2
"I think this is a great place to live and raise a family . My son lived here and we are visiting from NJ and have been here for nearly a month "
  • osborne.msalice
"It’s old and original. I like that most of the area is not a development. The only thing it’s missing is sidewalks. "
  • Jillian Elizabeth hooper
"To know where and what there child is doing at all times exspecially when there young !! And is as parents need to step it up too !!"
  • Kathy Alldredge
"Dogs aren’t leashed typically. They are frequently loose and running around. This makes walking a dog more difficult."
  • Knhwhitney
"Beautiful downtown areas. Lots of events to go to. Amazing food places. Lots of children’s parks and everyone is very friendly."
  • Presley H.
"Houses are pretty close together so if you have a dog that barks a lot, neighbors may get upset by the noise."
  • George S.
"It's right in amongst the city so its centrally located. Not bad commute. Maybe about 12 minutes to leave the city from any side of the house. "
  • Spequeno1
"Many of the children actually spend time playing outside instead of staying in all the time on their computers. It's good to see them enjoying each other, interacting."
  • Jessy G.
"I don’t have children. I would assume it is a safe place to raise kids. I think the schools in the area are good "
  • Swalz
"Great area. Wyatt Oaks is a safe and quiet area. Friendly people and nice houses. Big yards. Been here 18 years and never had a problem. The schools are great and there are many great places to eat, not far from all kinds of shopping and I-85. Atlanta is about 2.5 hours away and Greenville is about 15 minutes! Lots of great things to do!"
  • Kayleemiller680
"I live on a street with a huge yard. It’s about 10 acres. My dog loves it so much. He loves seeing and chasing wildlife. He also enjoys adventures in the woods. It’s perfect. "

"Great community. The schools are wonderful and technology/Facebook has allowed us all to reach out to each other with and questions we have."
  • Kennecook8585
" 5his neighborhood is a holding pattern for Forest Lawn. One can get in a wheelchair or walker and roll down the hill to Easley Baptist Hospital."
  • JP
"ASD1 has good schools and a tight knit community. The area is growing quickly and developing so classrooms will either get overcrowded or they will need to expand the buildings. Limited parks and recreation compared to Simpsonville. "
  • Localolo
"I drive 40 mins to work in Greenville . I am not aware of the closest public transit line. I have not seen a city bus or trolley."
  • Joel M.
"Easley, is the perfect town for growing families . Pretty good school systems and parks . Location is just centered of downtown GVL and Clemson , with plenty of shopping nearby . "
  • Stephanie H.
"The best thing I think Easley has that is unique is the Doodle trail... that’s about it... everything else is crowded and what you’d find anywhere else."
  • Ashley
"I’ve lived in this community for 3 years. Most people want to keep it nice but there are a few that do not. Their yards are a mess and houses could definitely be kept up. Lots of loose cats and dogs which gets annoying. And some kids are rowdy."
  • Latrice
"Friendly neighborhood, quiet, convenient location, kid friendly, pet friendly, affordable. I have only been here for a year but it’s been a pretty good year here. "
  • Gtate9105
"Everyone is friendly and it is a good environment to raise kids in. Lots of nature and beautiful scenery everywhere."
  • Nannylou1956
"I like my neighborhood cause it’s quiet also I’d really like to find a 3 or 4 bedroom in the Travelers Rest or blue ridge or Marietta sc area possibly a rent to own "
