3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY!!!I cannot imagine a worse school than CE Ellison!!! Not only was the academic program laughably feeble, but the school is also EXTREMELY dangerous, yet the administration refuses to even recognize the issue, let alone deal with the problem. For example: My child was assaulted IN FRONT OF THE "SECURITY" GUARD, but the guard and principal refused to hold the other student accountable.After only 3 months, I removed my student from CE Ellison because my child was being harassed and threatened DAILY. When I informed the principal, he claimed that he would look into the problem, but the harassment became worse. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my son's first year in public school (third grade) after being home schooled for K-2. This far we can only say positive things. His teacher is great, my son loves going to school every day and he is doing really good academically and emotionally.The school does family nights (stem night, musical performances) and offers clubs (science, art etc.) after school which is also nice.Parent Review1y ago

"In this neighborhood there are many families with kids of all ages and the schools are close as well. There is a beautiful walking trail in the neighborhood where you can see turtles and deer sometimes. Safe and quiet neighborhood."

"I commute 5 minutes from my home. For my husband it’s about 20min from post since he’s an army man. You have to pick your home wisely here, but we live where we live at the Dorel Apartments!"

"I have a car and short distance access to the interstate 14. I have live here for 5 almost 6 year in the same place and the traffic flow is not too bad. Either direction that you go unless you take clear creek during peak hours "

"I’ve lived here for three years and so many shooting violence, robbery, and fights have happened. There was even an incident where a shooting happened while elementary students were loading the bus. There may be areas better in Killeen but the side I have stayed I wouldn’t recommend it to move to."
