This cozy creekside retreat is full of bright light, with a peaceful treehouse balcony on the second floor, and a large patio, big yard, and creek access.

This is an 'Apt B' (a back building) with a separate entrance. There is a washer/dryer in the shared 'mudroom' between Unit A and B. Other shared facilities are the patio and yard. Unit B has a separate water heater. The home is equipped with Google Fiber internet. Upstairs is a bedroom, large closet (see photo), and bathroom. Downstairs is the living space, kitchen (full fridge/freezer, microwave, gas oven, sink), with two closets and a built-in shelf wall. One wall is wallpapered with a historical map! The space is currently semi-furnished; we have a queen bed, dresser, and sofa, but not much else. More photos of the downstairs living area and kitchen coming soon. (Or come tour and see for yourself :)

The location is fabulous; the neighborhood and quiet and homey, but located right next to restaurants and stores along the buzzing Burnet Rd area (our current family favorite is Taco Flats, though more upscale restaurants Epicerie and Fonda San Miguel are even closer. We bike most places via the Shoal Creek bikeway. Closer to home, the new Grove park is easily walkable.

One month's rent as security deposit. Utilities are included in the rental price.

You can literally walk or bike everywhere and you can also enjoy the privacy of a spacious backyard with enough space for big items like pool and trampoline.     "In rush hour traffic, it's about 20—30 minutes to downtown, and 30-45 minutes back in the afternoon. For Austin traffic, this is about as good as it gets without moving into downtown with its sky-high rental prices. From here, it's easy to get on MoPac and drive downtown. And if you work north of Allandale, there's virtually no traffic."

Yet the truly wonderful fact about this central Austin location is that it offers more acreage per person in all of Austin. Not only do you have the advantage of living in central Austin, but also you have the pleasure of enjoying life in quiet, spacious surroundings filled with trees, birds, bike trails, and parks.
