"It’s short, only about 3 minutes from both my places of work. Morehead is just a nice place to live and is usually close to about anything you need."

"landlords are mostly not pet friendly in my experience, however the city park put in a dog park. we could definitely benefit from more responsible owners, pet friendly rentals, and pet friendly establishments. the local pound doesn't euthanize, which in my opinion is awesome. "

"I have lived in this community now since 2015 and love it. Great place to live and raise a family. Homes are very will kept as well as yards. Animals are kept in various locations and are safe."

"I was born and raised here. It is a great community. You can be involved as much or as little as you would like. Our hometown is rich in culture with an emphasis in the arts. There is a lake, Morehead State University, hospital, and many outdoor activity opportunities. It is a little lacking in the just out of college age group, as we definitely need more restaurants and activities for date nights. However, Lexington, KY and Huntington, WV are just an hour away, with an easy drive on I-64. The only reason it did not get an excellent rating, is because there is always room for improvement. Maybe your relocation to our area is the improvement we need. HAPPY HOUSE HUNTING!!!"
