A laundry area sits between the kitchen and garage and flows really well with more Becker cabinets and a counter for folding laundry and a landing area just inside from the garage. The bedrooms are roomy for this era…kings and queens (beds) are welcomed here and the closets (with built ins) hold more than anyone can imagine. One of the bathrooms sits between the bedrooms and has an abundance of cabinets, full mirrored double sink, solid surface vanity, with multiple luxuries: lighted fan, heater/vent and heated tile floor. The bathroom on the other side of the home is really functional in its placement… it sits off the stand alone bedroom and is close to the kitchen and garage. It has ample cabinet space, updated tile, glass and tile walls for the shower. So it works really well on this side of the home. The attic has easy access from pull down stairs with hand rails and is floored the entire length of the home. A new attic fan with thermostat was installed this year to regulate the temperature and humidity. This area would make for an easy addition to the home if one desired. A dormer or two in the roofline and you’re in business for more living area. This area is large and open and works well for a storage area at this time. The roof was replaced approx. 6 years ago and was re-decked at that time. The backyard is like having your own private park! As you step outside from the French doors in the kitchen/family room to the patio, you will find more huge oak trees and a large 20’ x 40’ in-ground saltwater pool complete with 8’ deep end and diving board. We moved here to find a better since of community and got that, and NHS has been wonderful. We have a senior there and she's been well prepared for her next step in life. A loving community that provided a wonderful transition from elementary school to junior high! We have always felt supported by the administration and staff - seeing our four children as unique students with unique needs. When concerns were voiced, we were heard. Being heard doesn't always make way for change, but it affirms that our voices matter.I have also had the pleasure of collaborating as a local business/nonprofit agency alongside Santa Fe for the last 6 school years. Even as we have seen a turnover in administration, we see a consistent focus on our students. "I drive everywhere in town. The roads are good with minimal stoplights. The only true issue is this is a train town and when they come through and or stop it takes awhile to get from north to south. "
