Description
This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
One of Lexington's best condo buildings, High Point, is perfectly located near downtown, UK, and Woodland Park. The building is secure with a gated parking garage and access-controlled doors and stairwells.
The condo association has installed indoor bike racks and a shared propane grill for cooking on the patio. They also recently installed new carpeting throughout the building. The association does not allow for short-term Airbnb-type rentals, so the building is filled with owners and resident renters... which minimizes noise and other complaints. Each unit has a mailbox inside the parking garage and package deliveries are made in the main lobby.
This condo, #306, is available for lease June 1st, one-year lease minimum, longer terms available. The unit has views toward Woodland Avenue, comes with dedicated parking in the first-floor garage, and has guest parking is available behind the building. The current tenant does not have pets, however, the association does allow small dogs and cats.
High Point Condos are not frequently on the market, so reach out with questions or if you would like to schedule a showing.
The owner is responsible for sewer, waste/recycling & water. The tenant is responsible for electricity, cable, internet & phone. The condo is energy efficient, the average electricity is around $100 per month. Currently, Spectrum and Windstream are the options for cable/internet and phone service. The condo association is considering adding Metronet as a cable/internet provider. Smoking in the condo is prohibited. The unit has a security system that is available for activation if desired.

Most of the administrative staff abuse their power to go after lower income kids and teachers encourage fights. Do not let your child go here.Other Review1y ago - Lexington Trad Magnet School

"Close to all downtown events, Kentucky native etc. Not the kind of neighborhood where you have a street party, potlucks etc. "
- Clara W.

"It’s right next to the park, which is great for walking and playing with your dogs. However, some houses in these areas do not have backyards, so it is difficult if you have a dog constantly needing access to the outdoors or accustomed to a backyard. "

"The commute is okay. I work in Nicholasville so we head out on Tate’s Creek in the morning and it’s not too bad. The stop lights are pretty annoying. "

"Must leash and walk quite a way to allow dogs to potty. Small yards some not fenced. Historical neighborhood which means people are pickier."

"W. Second St. Lexington, Ky is a great downtown area to walk or just enjoy yourself at a nearby restaurant, pub, brewery or distillery. W. Second street is conveniently located within short walking distance to Gratz park, the home of Mary Todd Lincoln or Triangle park. Do a little shopping at Festival Market, Victorian Square or a wine shop. Watch the Kentucky Wildcats play at Rupp Arena. Thursday, Friday and Saturdays are usually the busiest times of the week for this area. Very close to public and highly rated private schools in a matter of just a few minutes walking. Bus stops located on the same street. Excellent historical part of Lexington, Ky to hang out and enjoy yourself."
