5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has serious safety issues. There are fights all the time AND my daughter is constantly being harassed. Do not enroll your kids at this school! It’s not safe for your kids!!Parent Review1y ago - Montebello Gardens Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth my daughters currently attend MTGE (3rd grade & Kinder). Teachers are great. They always motivate students to be better. As long as teachers and parents work together for the education of the students the experience will be great! TEAM WORK = SuccessParent Review4y ago - Montebello High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school needs teachers who will put in more effort, this school is severely behind in academics compared to other schools. Ap classes are rarely encouraged to be taken and often the school tries to remove them because of "low enrollment". Does the education of those few students not matter? Taking away the opportunity to try will not help students succeed. Administration needs to try harder as well. Students will not be motivated to learn when the teachers are simply reading off a workbook and having students copy, or when they don't even bother to show up to work, or when the school allows classes to have no permanent teacher for weeks/months at a time. Overall i enjoyed my time here due to the wonderful, yet few, teachers who care.Other Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 4739 Ivy St.

"Not always the safest place to raise kids, it would be preferential to live in a gated community if you would like to live in Pico, or live relatively close to a school. Otherwise, the neighborhood can feel a bit unsafe otherwise. There are often gunshots heard and police cars making arrests. The area gets nice the closer you head towards Montebello. Just something to keep in mind as you look for nearby houses."

"The parks have a lot of events that invite the community as well as surrounding communities. We have concerts, activities, and even a farmer’s market. It’s great to see everyone come out and get together to have a good time. Not a lot of communities have this and hopefully we will be a good influence for other communities to do the same."
