I went to this school as a kid and didn't have the best experience. When I moved back to the area as an adult I reluctantly had my children begin attending due to our district location.However, since my children have started, I have been blown away. The principal is extremely involved and communicative, creating an atmosphere of comradery and respect between teachers and students. The teachers I have interacted with have been supportive and flexible. There is minimal to no homework assigned (other than reading logs) before 5th grade, which studies have shown homework in the early years is nearly useless and only burdens parents and young children alike. The teachers and faculty have been extremely supportive to the emotional needs of their students, with the school recently employing a wellness coach. From what I have seen, students with special needs are handled with care and consideration, often given accomodations to support them in their journey. My kids often come home telling me about cool new facts they have learned. The faculty's flexibility and willingness to work with individual students, as well as creating an atmosphere of community, belonging, and respect toward the staff has been an incredible progression since I attended this school as a kid. I am so excited to see how this school continues to progress in the years to come.

We just moved here and have two kids at the high school and I have been really impressed.
