"private, secluded and you can be left alone. It's quiet. many local law enforcement live here. which is another plus. "
  • Troma Friddle
"The amazing wild life it’s like walking in a postcard. It’s flat land and livestock is breaktakimg. The deer, wild horses, cattle, sheep and homestead families are priceless."
  • Loel_g74
"Lived here since 8th grade and now my kids are going to school here. Quiet and very little crime. People stop to talk on the side of the road. There is no where to shop or eat though. "
  • cone0013
"I work in law enforcement in the area. The area is very safe and great to raise a family especially if you are into having a ranch."
  • purrfectlyhappyisme
"Have lived here for almost 30 years after being stuck in the city for 9 miserable years. There is clean air & water & good country living here :-)!!! There are good paying state & federal jobs available in the area. You've got lakes and mountains to explore. Skiing, fishing, boating, this area has it all ! Lots of BLM land to horseback ride on, etc. There's fishing and camping, farming , 4-H, rendezvous activities, and even a great sportsmen gun range with skeet ,etc, & even a SASS Cowboy group. And when you need some 'city time', there is Reno NV just an 80 mile drive on the 395, where there's all the stores, malls, entertainment, theater, ballet, and All Things City there :-)! And for even more Fun, there's Lake Tahoe and all the ski resorts :-)!"
