Terrible experience here. Constantly made fun of and picked on by students and teachers treated me like a total idiot. Went from being respected by peers and teachers at my old school to ridiculed and laughed at by the entire class.

As a parent, you hope for a school that sees your child, truly sees them, and helps them grow into the person they’re meant to be. Centennial doesn’t just meet that hope; it exceeds every expectation. My worries over this phase of life for my child have been replaced with joy.My daughter is thriving here in a way I never expected. From the numerous clubs that help explore talents and make new friends to dedicated teachers nurturing her talents and spark for learning. She’s discovering passions she didn’t know she had. These aren’t just activities to her anymore; they’re pieces of who she is becoming. The environment at Centennial is warm, safe and genuinely caring. My daughter says it best, “I love Centennial!”

I’m in my final year as a Crest View parent, and my (very different) children have attended the school since 2018. We initially chose Crest View because it’s our neighborhood school and raised no obvious red flags. I’m a very protective mother, and had I known some of the challenges my children would face, I might have hesitated. But if I had, my kids would have missed out on an incredible community and truly meaningful foundational experiences.Crest View has genuine socioeconomic diversity- some students live in $10 million homes, while others are homeless- and the staff works hard to ensure every child is seen. Challenging situations happen, but the school addresses them thoughtfully, creating opportunities for families to talk, reflect, and grow together.Because of the cohort they grew up with at Crest View, my children are more resilient, less anxious, and more compassionate than I am. They learned academically (the curriculum is set by BVSD, so there’s less variation than people think, but they also gained unexpected and invaluable soft skills. I will always be grateful for the loving, attentive teachers and for the experience Crest View gave my children.
