What Locals Say about Schumacher Place

  • Hunter Lute
"Plenty of sidewalks, not that much public grass for the dog to use. I would recommend sticking to the parks or near the parks, then explore the surrounding neighborhoods and side streets alike. German village is very fun and exciting area to live in, plenty of restaurants and parks to spend your time walking your dog through. "
  • Vincent Hendershot
"Farmers market, neighborhood socials, gatherings at neighborhood businesses, and neighborhood cleanups."
  • Dnp819
"Walkable streets, lots of parks, but other dog walkers are always out so if your dog is leash reactive you have to work on it!"
  • Dnp819
"Dog walking is common and I always feel safe. Plus other people walking dogs have good dog-owner manners and don’t assume all dogs want to say hello. "
  • Trulia User
"I have family living in various parts of the city. I worship in Dayton. I find it quite easy to get where I need and want to be despite the long term construction."
  • Alyssa L.
"Nice neighborhood especially for being close to downtown. Very walkable to Schiller park, events in german village, and bars/restaurants. "
