I attend every parent-teacher conference, email, have one on one talks with the teachers and other staff and everyone I’ve encountered have been very pleasant and helpful. The teachers really want to teach and guide and not just show up for work. "Some parts are better than other. Definitely needs some love. The community is great though. Commuting is okay. Kingshighway is forever a cluster. Overall if I could rate, i would give it about a 6. Good place to start but not ideal for long term and family building. "

"I walk everywhere and it is fairly safe. There is a pretty strong drug presence in the area as I have seen used needles in the street but that is prevalent everywhere in South St Louis."

"This area is located very close to Holly Hills and Carondelet Park. The elementary school is within walking distance from this home. Public transportation is less than a block from this home. Nice quiet neighborhood. Most residents have lived here for many years."
