5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s a very big school and the student body is diverse. The resources are there for all students and many do go on to good colleges. Then there are the other types of students who either show up to just mess around or rarely show up( somehow it’s mostly the black kids). The teachers are mostly good and some are great. Because of the large student body, students who need to be hand held and spoon fed will not do well at Cardozo. The staff is there to support me but if I dont show interest they won’t chase me down either.Student Review3mo ago - Jhs 67 Louis Pasteur

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has gone downhill in terms of safety since our older daughter graduated. My younger child was harassed, stalked and threatened by another student and nothing was done. A certain science teacher singled my child out for helping a classmate in need, the 8th grade AP wanted to file an oors, even though none were filed last year and my child was in danger.Parent Review1y ago - Ps 94 David D Porter

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have all great things to say about this school at every level. It’s a smaller school, so there’s better attention given. Every kid gets the attention and help needed; at least I feel that way for my children. Even the security guard knows my children. A great sense of community involvement. All the staff are very nice. Principal Avakians knows about my children’s situation and every little detail even when I don’t expect it. She continues to make more and more improvements. Under her guidance, it became a National Blue Ribbon school in 2020. It’s been acknowledged as NYS school of character in 2022, which means PS 94 is a model and example for all NYS schools to follow. I’ve witnessed the guidance counselor Mrs Pereira accept an award for the outstanding program for emotional development, which she greatly deserved as I see how she helps my child. It’s got one of the best robotics teams, who recently won an innovation award at the city championships under the CS leadership of Mrs Glus. It just goes on and on. They make every effort to hear out every parent.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 45-33 Zion Street.
