About this House

Opportunities like this don't come every day! Just steps from 44th and Tennyson, this gorgeous 3 story paired home blends Modern European style with all of the comfort and space expectations that have come to be expected here in the US. Upon your entrance you'll immediately see how your open indoor space transforms into an indoor/outdoor space with the glass panel garage door at the back of the living room. En route to this special feature you'll admire your gorgeous kitchen, with Belmont soft close cabinets & drawers. Cook from the large island as your guests sit at the island bar. When entertaining, make use of the built in credenza adjacent to the dining area- it makes for a perfect area for snacks and drinks, without cluttering up your island. Your outdoor space features a low maintenance Techwood deck that can be shaded by the retractable awning. For a green lawn year round, the owner has installed a swath of artificial turf. The rest of the back yard is beautifully covered in perennials, decorative grasses, and hardscaping. The master suite features a reading nook, private deck, 5 piece bath & walk in closet. Two additional bedrooms and a full bath round out the 2nd level. Then up one more level to the wet bar and rooftop deck! The basement is fully finished with a family room and flex room that could easily be turned in to a large guest bedroom. The 3/4 bath in the basement is newly remodeled. Your detached 2 car garage features a self closing garage door if you forget to hit the down button. Walk to dinner at Parisi then get up in the morning and walk 2 minutes to Tennyson Street Coffee. Hairstylists, pediatricians, dentists-all within walking distance. Countless restaurants, bookstores, shopping-all within walking distance. 1-1/2 blocks to Berkeley Lake. "It’s an extremely walkable neighborhood with Michelin star restaurants? Great bars, Tennyson shops, dog parks, 3 great parks and playgrounds, so much entertainment within reach! "
  • AC
"I used to love this neighborhood, but it has gone downhill the past couple of years. If I had children, I would not feel comfortable letting them play in the front yard due to cars consistently driving over the speed limit. "
  • Trulia User
"I work in Boulder-do it’s 30 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic on US36. Not too bad most days. My partner works downtown, and his commute is 12 to 15 minutes."
  • Trulia User
"There a lot families and everyone is extremely nice. Restaurants and shops are line the street of Tennyson"
  • Trulia User
"It's a very safe neighborhood with great schools and day cares. Lots of young families with kids as well!"
  • Trulia User
"So many dogs! It’s very dog friendly. Tough to leave the house without seeing one on the street. :) "
  • Kweissinger
"There's a dog park at Berkeley Park, next to the rec center, easily walkable from most parts of the neighborhood"
  • Jessica S. W.
"I work here and as far as safety it seems pretty safe neighborhood. People walk their dogs, kids walk with caretakers "
  • Jane.ballweg
"I work from home, but downtown is close, and it’s not terrible getting to Broomfield, Boulder, etc. either."
  • Lajarami
"the neighborhood has mostly older couples and nice houses - not many families. some friendly people some not so much."
  • Jon C.
"I have lived here for two years but lived just outside of the neighborhood for more than 10 years. This is a great family friendly neighborhood. "
  • digineer
"Highlands area of Denver, chock full of restaurants, public transportation, close to I-70 and I-25, fantastic night-life, plentiful coffee shops, easy access to DIA in 25 min."
  • Belinda D.
"3 lakes so close to walk, fish, play, boat,.. parked downtown at the courthouse in10 minutes,.. all amenities .. stores, gyms, Dr.s, parks, pool, vet, music, art, food, libraries, schools, etc. easy walking distance..... plenty of school options besides DPS..like Cesar Chavez, Magon, Holy Family, St. Catherines, Arrupe,.. and of course the star in the crown..Regis Univ. ... I-70 and I-25 easy access, mature trees and other landscaping, variety of housing options and styles... What is not to love??? !!! "
  • Rick F.
"Great neighborhood within minutes of Downtown Denver and Tennyson Street."
  • Amishrugger
"I live(d), I moved to another area for 2 years, and couldn't move back fast enough. I have lived in this neighborhood for 4 years total, and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I caters to all age groups, life status, gender, race, etc. It is close to all highways, has some amazing bars and restaurants, but most of all safe! I have been to a lot of great neighborhoods in Denver, but I keep moving back here, between the cost, the safety, the accessability, and the great things to do in the area. I plan on living in this area for a long time!!"
  • CaseyKnowsColorado
"Only 5 Short Blocks to Tennyson St. Sprouts market is very close by and a short commute to downtown."
  • Stephenkohlbeck1
"My wife and I have lived near Tennyson and 39th for over 5 years and love it. We can walk to over a dozen private restaurants, a health food market, yoga, parks, art galleries and more. Our last house was 1.5 miles away. That's how great this part of town is. A lot of young families, diverse group of people, hip. We live on the corner and see people walking throughout the day. We consider almost half the people on our block friends."
