My youngest son just recently graduated from U of K at the top of his class 2021. He thanks Eastern High for his success.Parent Review2y ago - Kammerer Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKammerer has been a great fit for 3 of my children. They transitioned with friends from elementary school and that helped them grow emotionally. Middle school is a hard time and full of learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom. Since KMS is not a huge school - I’ve been able to meet every staff member over the years and watch their styles of teaching. The new explorer program has elevated learning. My student is engaged in all her classes, band and engineering. She has a good balance of sports and clubs. We as a family have no doubt where our little one will head in a few years.Parent Review3mo ago - Chancey Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have experience as a parent with 3 different children in 3 different elementary schools over the last ten years, both private and public. I love Chancey and feel blessed that my family gets to be a part of the community there. The communication between school and parents is fantastic and clear, and I can always get through to someone who cares when I need it. Every adult I have encountered in the building shows the utmost care to the children, calling them by name, and noticing them with encouragement, for positive things. My second grader is always happy to go to school, even when she’s having hard days. I know she feels supported by the adults around her and I do too. The activities and community events offered by Chancey are always well-attended, upbeat, and fun. We just really appreciate the warm environment that has been created at Chancey. I know that a welcoming and loving atmosphere is the foundation for successful learning. My child also excels academically thanks to her time at Chancey. She loves math and reading and is proud to show off what she has learned. Overall we have had a great experience with Chancey and would highly recommend. I’m looking forward to my next child attending as well.Parent Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 4408 Possibility Way.

"I bought my house in South Louisville near Wyandotte a year and a half ago. I love how convenient my house is to downtown as well as the interstate. I have awesome neighbors all around and we all look out for each other and keep our street pretty safe compared to most other affordable neighborhoods in Louisville and It is a short walk to plenty of food places and the grocery store and pubs. Very little traffic at any given time.! The best part is the diversity, healthy mix of renters and owner occupied homes. Also, people of many different cultures live in harmony here , old and young. That and a great place to be yourself . I would consider it very LGBT accepting and friendly also. Most of my neighbors have been here for 10 years or more . You really can’t beat it for affordability and convenience!"
