10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchools should not be engaging students—especially middle school children—in political turmoil. Even though I personally may disagree with the current political climate, I do not believe it is appropriate for schools to encourage or allow children to protest issues they do not fully understand.Education should focus on teaching critical thinking, knowledge, and character—not promoting political bias or pushing the personal views of teachers or administrators. The world already has more than enough conflict; schools should be a place of learning and unity, not a starting point for more division. While the First Amendment protects freedom of speech, children are still developing emotionally and intellectually. Encouraging political protests at such a young age does not mean they truly understand the issues—it often means they are simply repeating what adults around them believe.Schools should educate, not indoctrinate.Parent Review3mo ago16 Reviews - University High School

Our younger one went to and excelled at Cal/BerkeleyWe never had to worry about our kids and did not spend any $$$ on tutors. Thanks for the Great Education and most appreciative of the Faculty who made it easy for us to be successful parents.Parent Review2y ago20 Reviews - Alderwood Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal Cheshire is the absolute WORST. She talks AT people and is a bit of a bully. We had an incident where a trouble child was causing chaos and she doesn’t properly address the issues but talks AT parents saying it’s been handled. She is the WORST. Only helps parents she likes. The school is good overall and the teachers are engaged and really caring.Parent Review11mo ago41 Reviews - Check out schools near 440 Goddard.

"Halloween on our block is a huge event with one house putting in a haunted house. The neighbors come out and rally. In summer the neighborhood has summer concerts as well as the city holds summer concerts. Our neighborhood has an Easter egg hunt tomorrow, the day before Easter. Very welcoming. Last Friday night the neighborhood hosted trivia night. "

"I am from Nebraska, things are different in the Midwest. You could let your kids ride their bike in this neighborhood, walk down to their friends house and not worry. Very quiet neighborhood with folks who have lived here for a long, long time. People stick to themselves but also help maintain a safe neighborhood and will converse once they get to know you! I would raise my family here if I had one."
