Since she has been at Lafayette, she has flourished socially, academically and emotionally. The areas were she was behind grade level, she is now currently meeting and that is because the teacher at Lafayette truly invest there time to each student that they teach. The teachers/administration are excellent and treat the kids & parents like they are all part of the big Madison family. It’s pretty special. My kids came from a school where some kids were driving $40,000 cars, it was very pretentious & stressful for all the wrong reasons. I ask them all the time if they regret our move & coming to Madison and they always tell me that they love Madison & have no regrets. Plus they have made some really great friends. Sure, Madison is an older school that needs some updating and a fresh coat of paint in some areas, but don’t judge a book by its cover. The staff is so caring to make sure kids succeed and make sure they are emotionally ok. They have a zero tolerance for bullying and rarely hear about things happening at the school. "You can let your kids out to play in the street and stuff and not have to worry about something bad happening to them. Everybody walks their dogs and waves to each other and says hi. People also mind their own business unless they see something suspicious. If your dog gets out neighbors are nice enough to help you try and get them back. Really lovely neighborhood. Quiet and calm. "

"Clairemont is a charming, up and coming neighborhood that is reasonably affordable, centrally located, and situated with a wide variety of amenities nearby. Populated with a diverse mix of young families, retirees and students, this area had a nice, relaxed vibe to it."

"The central location is excellent. 20-25 minutes to get to the beach, 15 minutes to get to the airport, feels like downtown or north county are both easy to travel to. there is plenty of local eating options, and the neighborhood is quiet. When we move din years ago there were no kids in the area but now there are a lot more younger families. East Clairemont is a great place to live!"

"You will be against all traffic from north, south, east and west. The neighborhood is friendly for family oriented. Highly recommend anyone to live here. You are 15 mintues away from Mission Bay and Pacific Beach"
