Posted by a parent on 3/28/2024My child has severe adhd and is struggling, no IEP has been put into place and I’ve beefed the school for months, the school caters towards their hearing impaired students more than any other students and kids with other disabilities don’t get the help they need.

It is the hub for SDUSD's auditory services, so deaf and hard of hearing elementary school students are centered at this school to take part in the district's DHH (deaf/hard-of-hearing) or auditory/listening (for those with cochlear implants) programs. This Christ-centered environment has fostered a strong sense of community and instilled valuable character traits in him. The teachers are not only exceptional educators but also dedicated, caring and supportive mentors. They go above and beyond to nurture each student's individual needs and encourage their academic and spiritual growth! My son started Pre-K here and now he is in 8th Grade! One thing he tells me is that he feels valued and respected here and is challenged to reach his full potential. This makes me very happy as a parent because you know you made the right decision in sending your child here.
