"As a dog owner something i dont like about my neighborhood is when there arent dog bags available outside without having to purchase when forgetting to bring one. Something i like is that stares and parks are nearby so i can walk my dog to the store or to the park"
  • Trulia User
"It is a safe community we have enjoyed living here the last 4 years. Pet friendly and very kid friendly. The schools are good. Lots of friendly neighbors. Older community lots of retired families and military families "
  • Trulia User
"it's has alot of class and history. it's clean and its close to a elementary school, middle school, and a high school, which is essential for family with kids. "
  • Jason G.
"great neighborhood I love living here everything is just perfect great people and everything is clean just love it"
  • Raeleen.nevarez
"Dogs are happy. But it would be nice if the owners picked up after their pet and kept them off lawns "
  • Owen E. M.
"I commute from here to Poway but it’s not as bad as it could be like driving on the 805. I have found my routine and have been able to make the drive in 45min or less."
  • Ytkassy
"Lived here since 2014. I have felt comfortable walking home at night 60% of the time. Just like anywhere else always be aware of your surrounding. It is a highly patrolled neighborhood since police station isn’t too far. Very family oriented neighborhood, with a moderate homeless problem on the main streets of the neighborhood. Many great place to eat locally. Gas prices are pretty decent compared to the rest of the SD county. "
  • Hael Y. E. C.
"This is not a safe area, is a lot homeless in the street and is a dangerous in the night, is not to much parking outside in the street "
  • Business_Only
"Some people don’t clean up after their dogs, therefore you see dog poop everywhere. Inconsiderate of others and children that walk around. "
  • Suavecito S.
"My neighborhood is calm, cool and collective! Also with reliable public transportation as of going to Downtown & the public trolley!"
  • Business_only
"My current neighborhood is not one, in my perspective, suited for families with children. All outside factors of the area, for example, maintenance, front yards, parking and overall neighborhood look is horrible. Everyone is always fighting for parking, people park their cars for dayyysss in the same spot, and cars are parked in front yards/sidewalks. My car got hit being parked. My husbands car was broken into. As far as look, there is always trash, furniture, dog poops and alcoholic glass everywhere. Yards aren’t kept up. Area is over populated to the point that there is not enough parking for everyone. I literally park two blocks away from my home every day. Overall, not a good neighborhood for families nor does it feel safe. "
  • Unspecified
"ive lived here for 15 years. decent area. my biggest complaint is people speeding down our street when we have so many children on it. "
  • ms
"Homeless people from the trolley station constantly flood the streets. Not a good place to walk your dog at night."
  • Simone H.
"I've lived in this neighborhood going on three years, and it is a convenient neighborhood to live in; close to freeways, businesses and shopping. However, the street we live on is super busy and noisy."
  • Cearls
"People walking their dogs all the time and very friendly. I am really hoping that my son can lease this house so near to us it would be nice to have him close by."
  • Elyse
"Coast, “downtown,” and quiet place all in one neighborhood. Lots of dogs. Nature trails, hiking, outdoors stuff too. "
  • Pray s.
"Diverse neighborhood. Close to shopping, schools, hospitals, restaurants, grocery stores and malls. "
  • Loyapics
"I’ve lived in the DT area Chula Vista for almost 3 years now. I live here with my dogs and 3 adult children. We enjoy our neighborhood and the people living in our community 😊"
  • Loyapics
"I’ve lived in this community for 3 years and the people are friendly and it’s a dog-friendly neighborhood!😊"
