  • Trulia User
"I do not live in this community, I work in this area. it's is a very nice area with a lot of beautiful stores and attractions. Also it holds a lot of history that has occurred throughout the years. "
  • Dan H.
"way too noisy and not a good neighborhood for pets and people alike. I think Chelsea or upper west would be more suited than here. "
  • Karen
"Annual 9th ave food festival which happens every May. It’s clean and there are doormen in these buildings which make it safe for the residents. "
  • Toni B.
"It’s a great area to live, I have always felt safe and there’s lots to do within walking distance including bars and restaurants, Javitts Center, Hudson Yards Vessel and the high line. "
  • Francois F.
"This is not a family neighborhood yet - too many construction - too many offices. A big mall only so far..."
  • Stacey W.
"It’s quieter than a lot of neighbourhoods in midtown yet a block or two away from all the crazy part of midtown. Close to Penn station and Herald Square which is extremely convenient. "
  • Erika V.
"It’s a brand new area with a very busy style of life but everything is developing in the good way, transportation is very easy, a lot of choices for do shop, grocery stores, banks, etc"
  • Eric.patino
"I’ve lived here for ten years and have seen the change and it has been for the better. I’d like to see a dog park in the immediate area of Hudson yards. Other than that it’s perfect. "
  • Alexanderaugustd
"Cars still treat these far west avenues like highways and driver faster than they should. Be careful. "
  • Scottbmelvin
"Gathering around the high line and the new vessel on Hudson yards. It make the entire area easy and welcoming to the area and the people who love in it. "
  • Sgtespinosajd
"Way too much traffic, cars drive fast at night, cyclist don’t respect pedestrians and ride on the sidewalk even tho there’s bike lanes."
  • Antwone S.
"The area has great access to public transportation. you have the A,C,E two blocks away the 1,2,3 about 3 blocks away the m10 bus the 34th street crosstown bus and the 7 train. Cabs are easily accessible as well as quick response from Lyft or Uber. There's even a company that rents electric scooters near by as well as limited mobility scooters. "
  • Neha S.
"They would like a nice dog park area for dogs to play. It would also be helpful for water fountains to exist in the area. It would be easier for walks."
  • Moriah R.
"I live on 8th avenue in the most congested part of NYC, but I still love it! There are some sketchy people lurking around a lot of the time, especially late at night, but I’ve never had a problem walking home late by myself. There’s so many people around at all times that you’re never really in a secluded area. "
