They offer two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the primary bedroom featuring a private bath and walk in closet. The great room is wide open with a vaulted ceiling and an electric fireplace. The huge kitchen boasts a center island, granite tops, and stainless steel Samsung appliances. The homes have white millwork and doors, and luxury vinyl plank flooring with carpet in the bedrooms and living room. They have optional access to the neighborhood pool during the summer.

Tenants pay utilities. Lawn mowing and snow removal are provided. Twelve month minimum lease. Up to two cats or dogs (40 pound maximum) at $75 additional rent per month for one pet or $125 per month for two pets. Applicant must have a credit rating no lower than 650 and a favorable background check, favorable and verifiable rental history (or history of home ownership), and verifiable monthly income of at least 3 times the rent amount (or at least 3 times the annual rent amount in verifiable bank deposits). NO SMOKING.

    "I lived a couple of blocks away for 18 years. While everything in the review from 6 years ago was definitely true, I know for a fact that activity has greatly improved. The scsu attendance is greatly reduced, so the walk- by traffic has diminished significantly. The university had extended their discipline of student activity to include bad behavior off-campus. On the downside, there are far fewer events held on campus. It is wonderful to walk to downtown, even to Lake George and to the public library, depending on how much exercising you want to do! Multiple bus routes make a stop at Miller Library so it is very convenient to get around. The Neighborhood’s homeowners would welcome the Rehab of this beautiful jem. There is an historical preservation committee, and the members have a great deal of experience in returning homes to their initial glory. As this is on auction, it could be that the pipes were frozen, and any buyer would be looking at the replacement of the plumbing system. Check the utility records to see if the usage was high during the winter. Good luck searching for the right house for you and your family!"

    "We have lived in the neighborhood for 4 years and know most of our neighbors on first name basis. There are lots of families and multi-generational families. We appreciate the diversity of the neighborhood. It is generally very safe although there are places to avoid due to the occupants. We lock our doors and I don’t let my elementary school son walk alone around the block for safety, but I am a cautious person. It’s a busy, but quiet neighborhood. "
