7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student there, i enjoyed it there. Comparatively better than schools in the area. The teachers are generally good. Its really big and has tons of fields for sports. there are a lot of clubs. nothing too out of the ordinary all i can say it was a content experience. I had an IEP, and i would say for me the help was minimal, but i also had minimal needs. my friends did not enjoy some of the special needs teachers and aids. The IEP team and advisors are very involved i would say. classes are good sizes and i had 2 teachers, one no longer works there, who i would say they were subpar but it bonded the class together, but there are some problematic teachers, that being unpopular amongst students. but it builds character and is fun to laugh about it later, and you could make friends out of it.Other Review2y ago - Stetson Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLet me put 0 stars, please. O used to go here and if you go to this school, you are about to have the worst time. I just, too much relief able to get out of that terrible place. Most if not all classes have teachers that teach you probably going to be the most useless things (Like why I need to know about the mitochondria??) and then they will not put in any effort to help you if you do not understand the topic. The kids at the school will not have a conversation with you without using every word in the profanity dictionary at least twice, including slurs to and race/ethnicity, and lastly for the kids you better not do anything stupid, or you will probably be made fun of for the rest of the year. The principles will probably get you in trouble for the most random and underserved things. One from my experience was me getting sent to the principle because I got attacked by this kid who TRIED TO FREAKING STRANGLE ME. anyways, I'm done typing just because I have that moment back into my head.I HIGHLY recommend not going here.Other Review1mo ago - Westtown-Thornbury El School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended Westtown-Thornbury from 1st grade through 5th grade. This school is awesome. The teachers are wonderful and the kids are outstanding, kind and considerate to one an other. I can't imagine a better choice of a school. I'm sad to see him move on to middle school but know it will be great as well. We are so lucky to be in such a great school district.Parent Review12y ago - Check out schools near 432 S Matlack St.

"West Chester is a sweet little town. There are lots of great restaurants to enjoy (even if we are still in a mostly take out phase), and some great small shops. The growers market is wonderful to visit on Saturday mornings to support local farmers and enjoy fresh produce and other goodies. We love taking walks around our neighborhood and enjoying the gardens people grow and the large trees providing heavenly shade. We have lived here for 11 years and love it."

"I am older and out of touch with is going in the neighborhood but I see trick or treaters and kids riding their bikes and walking. There are families of all ages in this neighborhood and blended families. There houses are 3 or 4 bedroom with many of the homes having additions. We added a sunroom and screened in porch too our home. The basement is partially finished and also had an exercise room and separate spa. The township has kept up common spaces full of lush greenery and trees. There are many neighborhoods like the one I live in in the area as well a very good downtown filled with many restaurants and quaint stores. We also live in close proximity to Exton where there is excellent shopping and resteraunts too choose from!!"
