5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average(2021) currently not sure what my opinion is on this particular school as of right now but i can tell youthat my son has been there for 4 years if you’re including preschool and what I can say is the amount of reading that they must not be doing at the school have to be done at home is required 20 minutes of sight words 7 days a week (it’s exactly what it shows on the calendar they send you)plus Reading a chapter a day of a bookPlus other mathematical homeworkplus phonicsand you kind of wonder to yourself what they are really teaching them in school if this much work needs to be done at home a lot of children are struggling at the school because a lot of the parents do not have time to do what they should be doing in school for 7 to 8 hoursPlus all the hundreds of emails they send daily it’s hard to keep up on the newsletters and everything else your child misses crazy hair day and pajama day and a lot of other daysThe teachers do not make sure at least the second grade teachers do not make sure the children take home their necessary paperwork to their parents on Fridays or whatever date is of the week I have missed 2 picture days because of it.Second graders are not responsible enough two no that is Friday or whatever day of the week it is and bring it back every single Friday they need to be reminded and the teachers need to be making sure that they have that important documents and information inside their backpacks at the end of the day before the bell ringsmy son would cry every single morning to go to school including the second day of school that started for him for second grade the first day after he was already upset he said both of his teachers I will not say names but they are the only second grade teachers and Heber Valley Elementary and they both scream and yell at the kid I have called and complained about this issue and it’s not being resolved I know that they had to change their principal and get all new teachers and staff I’m not quite sure why they did that but I’m sure it has to do with the academic level and everything else that’s going on in that school.but the amount of homework that needs to be done is something that should be done at school when I was a PTA at Heber Valley Elementary for first grade and for kindergarten we will talk about first grade all seven hours of the day they would be on tablets in front of screens they would not do much activity at all they were constantly be on their tablets.Parent Review2y ago - Wasatch High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been on a 504 plan for years. The attendance office blows me off or even hangs up on me and marks her absent continually. My child has to take time away form her school work probably once a week just to go get the absences removed from her book. A 504 plan excuses an absence for a child with a chronic disease. The child has had letters given to the school from their doctor, I have emailed all of the teachers every year. Half of them ignore me or laugh in my face.Parent Review5y ago - Rocky Mountain Middle School

"It’s one of the fastest growing cities in the United States for 5 years running. The house prices increase every year and the demographics of the area are changing rapidly. There are no signs of the growth slowing down at this point. "

"The public education system here is nothing more than push over administration and school board stonewalling ideas. You can easily Karen an A for your kids here because the education system is worthless."

"It's very hard to find pet friendly rentals in this area. Pet deposits and pet rent are per pet and are usually astronomical. "
