7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family's experience at Kettering has been a huge gift. My child started Kindergarten in the fall of 2021, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was more than happy to see that his teacher is caring and that she makes learning really fun. He is highly engaged in academics because of it. The principal is encouraging and upbeat. Her enthusiasm and positivity really reflect on the school. The kids get to do fun activities like Fit Fest (a fundraiser for the school), a carnival, book fairs, a talent show, and various themed days throughout the school year. My child also really loves recess and learns different songs from the playground supervisor who helps the kids line up, play together, and eat lunch together. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGraduating class of '23, this school has only gone down since i got here in 2019. Wilson does not have enough discipline when it comes to kids wandering campus during class or when it comes to vaping and drug use especially in bathrooms. Instead of punishing the children involved their solution is to lock up multiple bathrooms at the same time restricting access to the students. These "solutions" are all similar in nature when it comes to various problems. The school strongly favors minority groups and the amount of assignments and clubs and months and weeks surrounding "inclusivity" are outrageous. I do not feel represented in this school. This school is highly politically biased and I'll leave it at that. Many kids at this school have horrible attitudes and i feel that the low work ethics of said students brush off on others. I am not saying that all kids are like this, but a very high amount of them are.
