About this House

Stunning mid-century modern design in Starlight Village, a one-of-a-kind development just north of Austin that is all re-imagined Atomic Ranch homes - but new, not old.

The home was built in 2019 and is 1417 square feet with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It's modern and spacious with soaring high ceilings and tons of windows. The front of the house is an open-concept living/kitchen, featuring gorgeous Brazilian Teak hardwood floors and two retro wood paneled walls, as well as a ceiling fan. The focal point is the floor-to-ceiling brick wall with gas fireplace and a unique concrete floating bench and mantle.

The custom gourmet Italian kitchen features Bosch appliances, Carrara quartz countertops, heritage tile backsplash and Mid-Mod lighting. A huge island has bar seating. There's also a separate adjacent dining room.

Everything is light and bright, with skylights and dozens of high clerestory windows. The interior design is 100% Eichler Atomic Ranch mid-century style.

The master suite is very spacious, tall vaulted ceilings with clerestory windows and ceiling fan. The large bathroom has a frameless glass walk-in shower and Carrara quartz countertops. There is also a door that opens from the bedroom onto the courtyard.

The second bedroom features the second bath just outside the room with a tub/shower combo.

Every room has its own individual AC units with remote control (European style AC, so you can just heat or cool the room you are in to comfort level). There is a stackable washer and dryer, and also an on-demand hot water heater.

There is a private courtyard and a small fenced back yard. Parking is under a covered porte cochere.

You'll love the community pool! It's only three houses down and as Palm Springs mid-century as the rest of this unique development. Since it's a small neighborhood of only a few dozen homes, most of the time you will have the pool all to yourself. Even in the few Texas months it's not warm enough to swim, it's a fun spot to hang out and have drinks.

There's also a fenced in dog park and some treed green spaces with walking paths. The neighborhood is small, on a private loop, meaning there's no through traffic and extremely quiet and safe. Neighbors are super friendly and fun.

There is nothing else like Starlight Village in the country! You'll feel as if you've just stepped into Palm Springs or the set of Mad Men. Called a community of "MCM dream homes" by Atomic Ranch Magazine, Starlight Village is a unique community that's been written up in Dwell & Curbed, as well as featured on two episodes of House Hunters.

"It’s a very nice neighborhood, the only downside is there is no school zones on the major road, and no cross walks for the children in the Larkspur neighborhood."
  • Tffwddhht2
"very safe and comfortable being here. we just love this area. it’s family oriented and still somewhat of a small town feeling still as compared to cedar park now. "
  • Toni Micoley
"The subdivision I am in is great. People are clean and respectful. There is very little borrowing a cup of sugar, but that’s ok. A lot of people go for walks in the morning and there is a golf course near by. There are restaurants near, and more on the way."
  • Newbern_2004

"Need more business to move in - strictly a bedroom community right now. Train service take too much of our tax revenues - sad state of affairs. Water issues and too expensive to water your yard (which the city requires you to do???)"
  • Jermini Malone
"Leander is a safe place to start a family. Many places to visit! The community is great at making you feel welcomed. "
  • Tporch

  • JD
"Nicest neighborhood we have ever lived in, after 20+years in military towns. Very quiet and lots of friendly people. Some rentals in the area, so that could be an issue in the future. Safe area for now, but with Ronald Reagan building up, there are sure to be lots of issues. The schools are amazing and worth the higher taxes in the area. "
  • Lisa M. O.
"Football games and other youth sporting events. Leander is a morning very active community with a lot going on. "
  • Christina
"I’ve lived here since I was 10 years old. I’ve always loved this town. Everyone eventually knows everyone, people are very friendly and welcoming and everywhere is kid friendly."
