Our family's experience with this school was extremely disappointing and ultimately resulted in a complete loss of trust in both the teaching staff and administration.Throughout the entire school year, communication from the teacher was consistently poor. As parents, we often felt left in the dark about what was happening in the classroom, our child's progress, and issues that should have been communicated to us. Attempts to maintain meaningful communication were frustrating and ineffective. This lack of communication alone made the school year an extremely difficult and unpleasant experience for our family.The situation became much more serious in April 2026, when our 6-year-old child told us that a teacher pulled them aside for a private conversation between lunch and recess and discussed gender identity. According to our child, the teacher explained that a person could identify differently and use a bathroom corresponding with that identity.Regardless of anyone's personal views on this subject, we believe a private conversation of this nature with a six-year-old child should never take place without transparency and communication with the parents—especially after our family had already communicated our religious concerns to the school in writing.Combined with the lack of communication throughout the year, this incident completely destroyed our confidence in the school. As parents, we should not have to wonder what sensitive subjects are being discussed privately with our young child or repeatedly struggle to get basic communication from the people responsible for our child's education.The situation became serious enough that we made the very difficult decision to remove our child from the school immediately, only about a month before kindergarten graduation. Our child had to leave classmates, established routines, and end-of-year activities and start over at another school.We expected professionalism, transparency, communication, respect for parental involvement, and appropriate boundaries. Based on our experience, we received the opposite.I cannot recommend this school to other parents. Our experience throughout the year was deeply frustrating, and the final incident made it clear to us that leaving was the right decision.Parents entrust schools with their young children every day. That relationship requires communication and trust. In our experience, this school failed badly on both.
