1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average12- year parent of KCPS, with a Junior at Central. The school has been excellent for us. Their rookie robotics team went all the way to the World Championships this year, which we were apart of. Our Junior is interning with Cerner twice a week, through the school. Our grades are great, the teachers have been exemplary, the only thing missing is the support of the broader community. It’s unbelievable that such a great facility is so vastly underutilized by midtown Kansas City. "This neighborhood is at a prime location right in the cultural heart of the city...by the Nelson-Atkins, Kemper, KCAI, Stowers Institute, Kauffman Foundation and UMKC. Oh...and the Country Club Plaza is a short walk away. Rockhill is rich with history and is closeknit. The only drawbacks might be ...even though it is a prime location for the mentioned cultural spots...it is right on the edge of a high crime area and I'm unsure of the public school district"
