About this House

Hi, I have a room available in a newly built 2 bed/2.5 bath townhouse with off-street parking. Built in 2013, this split level townhome comes complete with granite countertops, brand new appliances including dishwasher, fridge, and stove and wood floors on the main floor. The main floor is an open living space between the living room, kitchen, and dining area and is fully furnished. The main floor also has access to an outdoor deck complete with four top table and gas grill. There is a TV with basic cable, Netflix and Hulu in the living room. Downstairs there is the 1/2 bath and "study" area, currently not being used and would be ideal for an at home office or second sitting room for having friends over. Upstairs are two bedrooms (each with a full bath) and a washer/dryer. Your bedroom is 8'x12' with a large south facing window and an ample closet that runs the length of one of the walls. Your room is wired for cable and the bath includes mirror/sink, toilet and shower. The townhouse comes with a 2-car garage with room for ski/bike storage (either in the garage or basement). Street parking is plentiful (though it depends on how busy nearby Snooze and Trader Joe's is). The convenient location is within 2 blocks away from great amenities (Trader Joe's grocery, US Bank, 2 dry cleaners, 3 coffee shops, a 7-11, a gym, 14 restaurants/bars including pizza, indian, mexican, greek, sushi, burgers, fro-yo, and breakfast). Within easy walking distance to major Denver bus routes including the 6, 10, 15, and 40 lines, a quick ride on a bike from downtown and just as easy to go east to Lowry/Stapleton/Aurora. Easy access to I-25 or I-70 via Colorado Blvd.I'm a 25 year old male, working for civil engineering/land surveying firm downtown doing sales and marketing. Whether for work or spending time with friends, I'm out more than I am in/entertain, but enjoy having people over. My neighbors are friendly, but typically keep to themselves; we do the occasional block get-together every once in awhile. In general, I spend my time working, skiing (I have the epic pass), hiking/biking and trying out breweries/restaurants with friends. When home I like to unwind and relax with a good book, some music, or a movie/TV.You are a 20-something professional or grad student who is nice, clean, and doesn't smoke. I'm open to pets, but on a case to case basis and cleanliness is a priority. Need a clean history (credit/criminal) and pay on time. No illegal drugs. Bonus if you workout/live a healthy lifestyle.Rent is $1,000/month and includes all utilities (heat, electric, cable, internet, water, snow removal/lawn care). Looking for a 12-month lease but open to discussing alternatives, and I will ask for first and last months rent when we sign. I would like to meet you in person to further discuss, either on the weekend or in the evening, so please email me if you are interested. Thanks,ChrisRent includes utilities, cable, and internet. First and last months rent upfront. Townhome is furnished, just not your bedroom.

"Most dog owners are conscientious and treat their dogs like their kids. They take care of them and don’t let them run wild or harm other creatures. "
  • Etnakid
"Lots of parks, sidewalks, friendly neighbors in Hilltop/Mayfair area. I walk my dog in the evening and feel safe. City conveniences with slightly suburban feel. "
  • R.lontine C.
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 65 years . My wife and I and family love this neighborhood .. The area is beautiful and well taken care of... the neighbors are friendly and help take care of each other,, "

  • Trulia User

"Very walker-friendly neighborhood with good green spaces and safe streets. Lots of people walking and playing with dogs in the many nearby parks."
  • Trulia User
"You feel like your in the suburbs but you’re only one subway stop from Midtown Manhattan. Great restaurants and bars."
  • Sabina Z. .
"Many families and kids and parks and quaint. Local school nearby and everyone is friendly. I enjoy it. "
  • Mspenmeister
"I’ve lived here over thirty years and moved here specifically for the schools and knowing it was safe for my children to walk to school and play outside. My children are grown now and even though many older people have moved, many younger families have moved in. It’s fun to see all the children playing outdoors and families getting to know one another"
  • Mspenmeister
"Sixth Avenue Parkway and Severn (designated bike route) are very popular for walking dogs, taking babies out in strollers, and jogging."
  • Beth C.
"Parks are great but there is a lot of traffic. I love going to the park with my dog. There are always others pups to play with! I do wish that there were a few more lights around the park for evening walks. "
  • Marckaeden
"Very active dog community with local parks nearby. Not loud or noisy at all and the neighbors seem to pick up after fairly well."
  • Grace
"I love this neighborhood! Lots of neighbors who have been here for years/decades mixed in with new build homes. Great character from block to block and friendly, safe, atmosphere"
  • Curtismock
"Beautiful tree lined streets, friendly neighbors, high walk score, beautiful variety of house styles. "
  • John S.
"friendly neighbors, great local restaurants within walking distance, sense of community, and close to everything in Denver, especially City Park, the Zoo, and Museum of Nature and Science."
  • Eskimopi173
"just another average, rather bland neighborhood in Denver. with a 5+ year Hole next door. building more overpriced condo's & apts not many can afford. if you consider 2+ miles in any direction a "High Walkscore", then you have no clue what a real city should feel like. yes it's safe, better the Caphill but that's not saying much.
