Posted by a parent on 8/10/2017We absolutely love Steck. We moved to Hilltop primarily to reside in Steck's school district and have not been disappointed. It is a very rigorous, high-performing and fast-paced school, which is why it is ranked as one of the best elementary schools in the state. The downfall is that the school is highly desirable due to the incredible teachers and parent involvement, so the class sizes are large. However, the school has been creative in managing class sizes through applying for more funding for an extra teacher/class for the larger-sized grades. For instance, my daughter currently has 19 children in her morning (literacy) 1st grade class. In the afternoon, she joins her other classmates for "specials" with the bigger class of 29 students. Additionally, the PTA raises money through their annual auction to fund full-time para professionals to assist in every classroom, and to offset public funding shortfalls in art, music and technology. The teachers are absolutely my favorite part of the school. We have never been disappointed with the quality and dedication of our two children's teachers. It's a great public school option!!

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have been thriving at Bromwell for over 2yrs. The teachers are so dedicated to each and every child, and work hard to meet each child where they are, every day. Leadership continues to prioritize students and staff. The community is involved, welcoming and volunteer to help make the school a special place that feels like a family.Parent Review8mo ago - Carson Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here a few years back and it was a very good and positive school. There were never any fights, the teachers and principles provided a bunch of support and there were also many fun activities we had done over the school years. The staff were always super kind to the students and the lunch was good.Student Review4mo ago - Montessori Children's House of Denver

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is such a great way to start your day by seeing so many kids of all ages running, literally running, into school with big smiles on their faces. At the end of the day, the kids don’t want to leave. Our child has thrived at MCHD, finding a love for learning, supportive and nurturing teachers, and a great group of friends.Parent Review4mo ago - Christ the King Roman Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent of a child that went to Good Shepherd for middle school. It is such a lovely community, I wish I had known about it for preschool and elementary school. I was a little nervous bringing my child in for middle school because he didn't know many kids and isn't Catholic. But we all felt so welcome and included. I am now a substitute teacher at Good Shepherd and I love it. The students are bright and engaged. They are earnest and caring. The families value education and support the school in so many ways. It is my first choice in places to substitute teach because the students are so well behaved. They are kind to each other and to me. The teachers are well prepared and effective in their teaching methods. The hot lunches are delicious. The playground is newly renovated and fun for the kids. The athletics are strong. There is very little I can think of that could be better about Good Shepherd.Other Review5mo ago - Graland Country Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family has had a great experience at Graland! I have two sons, one in Pre-K and the other in 5th grade. This is our fourth year at the school. Our children are happy at school and have progressed so much in their time there, both academically and socially. The community of families has been warm and welcoming from the very beginning. We are so happy to have landed at this wonderful school!Parent Review6mo ago
