Known history:
I purchased the home from a foreclosure auction and I’ve owned it about 2 weeks. I was able to see the house for the first time this past weekend and it’s too much of a project for me.
The home requires significant repairs to include entirely new kitchen (complete tear out), new bathroom vanity, new flooring (currently down to the slab in most areas), repairs to converted garage, and a significant amount of cleaning needs to be done. The home appears to be structurally solid with hardie board siding, new windows, newer bathtub and surround, and central a/c (condition unknown, but the condenser appears to be too small for the square footage of the home). I do not have the electricity or water turned on so I cannot comment on the condition of those systems. The roof needs replacement. There are a few holes in the walls, in my opinion probably just needing patching. The converted garage was done poorly and if it were me, I’d just convert it back to a 1-car garage. Where the garage door used to be are very poor looking pieces of painted compressed plywood acting as siding. One of the half baths was put in the garage and I suspect that it was done without permits as it isn’t listed on the tax record. Along the right side of the house you can see where the slab was dug under to do the plumbing.
