My daughter is getting an education on the level of a private school, with the added benefits of economic and social diversity. I've dropped by her class a few times now and the kids are attentive, and well behaved and creativity is encouraged. It's also a good cohort of kids - I am not aware of any issues with bullying. Going thru sat prep , regents is not easy for a 11th grader, but the teachers have been there with her supporting and guiding . "The commute in this location is Excellent because you can use 1 , 2, 3, A, B, C trains to go to uptown or downtown. You can even end up in the beach from there if you want. plus you can use buses. Ir is safe to commute at night and during the day. Near central park and the hudson piers. "
