8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery high! We moved here from a small private school on the East Coast that we loved so much and expected transition to a huge public school to be awful. To our surprise it has been awesome. The teachers are funny, kind, accessible and supportive. She's learning so much in interesting cool ways. The technology available is great. There's a wide variety of extra on-site offerings from guitar to cooking to babysitting classes. The indoor/outdoor campus is something I never thought we'd get to experience (great for vitamin D in our screen focused world). My daughter loves the lunches (which I previously annoyingly had to make) and the physical ed is giving her a strong foundation of healthy habits. She runs more than anyone in our family now. The principle is friendly, present, and engaged with the students and activities and the school is built on rewarding good behavior including being respectful to others. And as a bonus, you can see the ocean from campus! We highly recommend shorecliffs for your child and are grateful we chose it for ours!Parent Review4y ago - San Juan Hills High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have now two children at this school. At one point I had my son at a local prestigious private school in 8th grade and was planning on keeping him at that school. However, when my daughter was a freshman at San Juan, I was able to clearly see the academics and programs that the school offered were on par, if not far surpassed the private schools in the area. If your child is focused and an honors student, this school is excellent. The teachers are smart and caring and classes are taught to prepare them for the competition in college. In addition, this school has a variety of classes and courses to choose from. Almost way too many. To the point that my daughter felt bad she didn’t have room to take a lot of the classes she was interested in. If your child is one that challenges him/herself, than I assure you, it’s an amazing high school. The honors and ap teachers, counselors and even the amazing principal are here to prepare them for what’s to come in college. I have no doubt that college will be easier than high school for my daughter and son!Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 4107 Calle Mayo.

"San clemente is whack. Was fun growing up here but it’s gotten worse over the year. Not to mention we live in a 1.5million dollar home in an affluent neighborhood in Talega and yet my car was stolen right out of my driveway last week. Everything is absurdly expensive and this town is not what it used to be."

"Safe and friendly. Lots of activities and plenty to do. Farmers market on Sunday is a great place to take family, see friends and enjoy treats. Christmas time is a special time in the city that is well decorated. Summer time outdoor concerts and activities are second to none. Plenty of great shopping and restaurants. Del Mar is downtown full of great restaurants and unique shops. Music at ivy Lee's with new Orleans cuisine but start at the Cellars on del Mar for great wine, cheese and music. Beaches are well maintained, safe and there's even an historic pier. Great vibe and creative energy. A new Brazilian crepe place just opened up on del Mar. Amazing Brazilian coffee. Tapioca crepes are outstanding. San onofre with old mans surfing beach with firepits on the beach is a must for all. "

"A lot of people walk their dogs in the neighborhood and on the walk ways at the beach but dogs are not allowed on the beach which sucks. You can get a ticket."
