9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to Forsyth because many people think they have a better schools than other countiesThis is our first year with this school and after two weeks in this school, many problems started. First, the school though our daughter was a mentally handicap so they decided to put her in several separate classroom with out letting us know about it. Many emails then meeting but they never explained how did they made that decision. Their facilitator was on and on about this obligation and that obligation, but never once said that she has had no obligated to take her job or leave her job. Then IEP, our daughter received a special need because SSD due to her birth. This speech language pathology was born and raised in Forsyth, just graduated with no experienced and has this job with her county. She was assigned to work with our daughter. She had never communicated with us regarding what so ever about our daughter. Turn out, her case manager and the facilitator have to handle the talk. (may be this pathology is too young to speak). Not only that, in the past 6 months, she teach our daughter about idioms only. We contacted her case manager and the case manger told us that what their team decided for our daughter to learn until the end of school year. Idioms is nice to learn, but that is not a academic or standard form. We can buy a idioms book or download it online for our daughter to practices why do we need a Pathology to teach.Maybe, this Pathology is inventing her own idioms that no one has ever known to teach kids. This school is running with a lot of negative people.Any one want to know about Forsyth County, just email us to find out the true before buy a very expensive house to live. You can rent a house for first year and try out their school before stuck in the situation like us (400k).FYI: a lots of farms and cows are here in Forsyth.Parent Review7y ago - Riverwatch Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe came from a Montessori school through Elementary straight to this public school in 6th grade. Not only did my child transition wonderfully but he's been continuing to do better and better. He's had great teachers and there's only been one in the last 3 years that he's complained about. His math teacher has really helped him on an individual level which was amazing in itself. We love Riverwatch and aren't surprised that it's ranked one of the top 3 in Georgia.Parent Review8mo ago - Lambert High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and faculty really prepare their students for college and in life. There is a competitive culture both academically and athletically that really pushes students in ways that parents can't teach. It's a new school, so it's not really on the map for a lot of the competitive colleges even though the rigorous classes and involvement in extracurriculars are different from most public schools.Other Review5y ago - Check out schools near 41 Ruth Ln.

"I lived in the Polo Fields for 14 years, leaving GA six years after retiring. I found that neighbors here were snobs, too busy to become friendly with neighbors. Being from WI, I found this disturbing. The climate is great for winter and fall, but horridly humid during summers. This part of GA is victim to rainfall in the small watershed of the Chattahoochie River so that water availability for maintaining landscapes is fickle. Taxes in Forsyth County are low, especially for real estate. The Forsyth County School system is pretty good. I left to return to WI, finding a great neighborhood and very friendly people and cold winter weather---so be it. GA and Forsyth County were a great experience if you can live with the awful commutes in North Georgia and humid summers."

"What used to be a small rural town is now FULL of schools and traffic. Other than that, it’s perfect. It’s safe, clean, the people of the town I feel like are heard by our little government, people are generally nice, we have the lake and the mountain and all the little parks for sports. I wish they’d stop building so many schools but that’s just the times I guess. "
