This is one of the nicest and most convenient rentals in Laramie. It's a whole 3 bedroom house (except for the basement, which has a small, separately rented "mother in law" apartment with its own entrance) with lots of amenities not found in other Laramie rentals. Spend summer and fall days on this large front porch and use it for entertaining. Large living room and dining room with oak built-ins. Large kitchen with new range and nearly new refrigerator. Recreation/mud room with newly re-tiled floor. Washer and dryer (not just hookups!) included. Attached garage provides ample storage. (Similarly sized garages in Laramie rent for $300 or more per month all by themselves.) Garden in backyard. Driveway has off-street parking for two cars. Right up the street from the UW Classroom Building (closer than the dorms!); 3 blocks to supermarket; 2 to restaurants and cybercafe; 3 to downtown; 2 to post office. What makes this unit such a great deal is that the rent includes gas and electricity, which can be very expensive for such a big house -- especially in winter! A wide variety of prior tenants -- faculty members, UW staff, families, groups of students (serious students only, please; no partiers!) -- have all been happy renting here. Split it 3 ways and it's quite a lot less per person than the corporate student housing complexes (the newest of which charges up to $650 per person per month plus steep fees). This property is also much closer to campus than they are -- no waiting for slow, packed shuttles or hunting for parking! Internet service from LARIAT is available to our tenants at a 25% discount with free installation; service can be up and running the day you move in. This is a real, private Internet connection; not a shared hotspot. Also, because we do not ask for the last month's rent at the beginning of the lease, your cost to get in is substantially lower than for other similar properties. Sorry; no uncaged pets or smokers in this unit. Principals only please.
