"There are many great families with great well-behaved mannered children with many community parks, swimming pools, splash pads, and much more than every kid could dream of! Newton is a great city to raise a family in to even work in! We also even have great public schooling with a lot of extracurricular activities for those middle school junior high and high school! "
  • Chris Boehlke
"The neighborhood is great. There are a multitude of age differences here but everyone is friendly and everyone looks after each other here. "

"I drive everywhere in town. The roads are good with minimal stoplights. The only true issue is this is a train town and when they come through and or stop it takes awhile to get from north to south. "
  • Brycen S.
"lots of fireworks for 4th of July, county fair time there are tons of small events like demo derby rodeo and food vendors. "
  • Justin B.
"Area wide garage sales, and great 4th of July displays. We have neighborhood watch program. Everyone takes care of their lawns. "
  • Hedda.s2009
