Desirable location, so close to the sound and the beach! Lovingly maintained and used as a 2nd home, never rented, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. There is plenty of covered deck space, and space under the home for outside living. Bike or walk to the beach or the sound with ease. It sits on a 7500 sqft lot, so there is more space between the neighbors than other areas of KDH westside. The ground level has plenty of entertaining space, carport space, outside shower and storage room. There's also a portable tiki bar. There are two sets of stairs up to the main level porch. Walk into the home and see the open layout with kitchen, dining, and living area. The kitchen is ample, with the pantry converted to house the stackable washer/dryer. NO stairs to go down to do laundry! The cathedral ceiling, sliders to the porch, and beachy accent wall give the home plenty of light and character. This home has a traditional "Outer Banks beach box" layout with all the living space on the main level. Two bedrooms share a hall bathroom, and the master bedroom has it's own full master bath. Recent updates include new septic for four bedrooms in 2015, new HVAC in 2015, new sliders. New decking in 2014. X flood zone, so flood insurance is not required, and there are plenty of possibilities for enclosing the downstairs area for more space. The ample-sized corner lot provides shade and privacy, and the front is nicely landscaped. The freshly painted, beach-themed, exterior makes the home pop! A super short walk to the sound and the multi-use soundfront path that goes for miles and provides views of our gorgeous sunsets. One street away from the stop-light controlled crosswalk to the beach! The owners enjoyed many memories with kids and grandkids. Put this one on your list, you won't be disappointed.

    "The school is not properly set up for academics. Since Covid, it seems the teachers are less face teaching and more computer teaching. Sports- if you were not born here then your child will have a difficult time making teams and fitting in. It’s Daddy’s ball for sure with all sports and clubs. Drugs are in the schools so teach your child what to be careful with. "
