About this House

This is a full house share opportunity. I will be signing the Master Lease on November 1, and have permission of the owner to find a roommate. It's a 1600 sq.ft. home on a ranch with cows, goats, chickens and lots of garden space. Vineyards and an exotic protea garden right outside the fence. My roommate will have two of the three bedrooms, a full bath and whole house privileges except in the two rooms I am taking for my bedroom and office/sitting room. The family room has a fireplace and lovely views of the valley sprawled beneath the house through a wall of windows. Nice fenced outside space, and full garage which we will share. I have two cats so would prefer someone who doesn't also have pets. $2,000/month plus utilities, which include internet, electric, water, garbage and propane.

    "It takes forever to get anywhere in Salinas. It’s an old town, much of which had been preserved for the sake of it being John Steinbeck’s hometown. This means narrow streets, minimal parking, and lots of congestion. There are only a few streets which connect “Old Town” to the newer developments... which calls for lots of traffic on those roads."

As of lately an overwhelming presence of police when they could be on the other side of town where it needed. Borderline harassment when daughter walks our dog and police drive by and blind her by shining white lights at her. Unacceptable."
