My child is a senior and although my child needs a lot of reminding and encouragement, they’re doing great. Most of the teachers are amazing with the exception of a few that I wouldn’t say are bad but just need to do better. This school is a no nonsense, we don’t play around type of school. It was a hard adjustment for my child coming from schools that were lenient and more laid back but grew to love it and it helped shape my child up and mature. Parent involvement is mandatory in this school and I love it. If your child is falling off track, they will call you or send you a message/email and make sure that they get back on track. I think sometimes they could be a little too strict and when a student tries to voice their opinion it’s often seen as disrespectful but to each their own. We all have different upbringings and I think that’s where this can get confusing for a student. Either way, they have our children’s best interest at heart. I truly love this school, the community, family feel, and the academics. When a student gets to 11th grade, they start going to school on the Brooklyn College Campus and can start taking college classes. Students that are very determined have graduated with a HS diploma and an Associate’s degree! Others have graduated with 30+ college credits. It’s truly amazing what they offer. They offer tutoring when your student is falling behind, they have clubs and sports. They take the students on trips that they don’t have to pay anything for. They go above and beyond. Last but not least, they make sure our children are safe. I’m so glad my child goes here and will graduate from here. My child has had the best high school experience.

If you are Jewish don't attend this school they are affiliated with anti Zionist organizations. They don't care that some students and families feel incredibly uncomfortable about this bias. It's not a safe environment.
