Description

Sail away from your private dock onto the emerald waters of Choctawhatchee Bay while dolphins play nearby and osprey soar overhead and the majestic views and tranquil setting melt away the stress of everyday life! This beautiful home is located near the tip of the peninsula formed by Rocky and Boggy bayous, affording beautiful sunrises over the water, and incredible sunsets from the end of your dock. The views are spectacular and filled with wildlife such as pelicans, king fishers and, for the lucky, sea turtles! On your very own dock you can fish for trout and redfish drawn to feed in the nearby sea grass beds. The mature, Spanish moss covered oak trees lead you to the entrance of this lovely home. Step into the very large and welcoming foyer and you will see the formal dining room to your left. Graceful columns and a trayed ceiling create an elegant room in which to entertain family and friends. The open floor plan of the great room, kitchen and breakfast area look out a wall of windows to the breathtaking views of the bay and bayou. The kitchen has granite and solid surface countertops, stainless steel appliances, and warm wood cabinets. The master bedroom is large enough to allow for sitting room furniture from which to soak up the VIEW! The master bath includes a whirlpool tub, separate shower, and water closet, dual sinks, and an enormous walk-in closet. Three additional bedrooms, and two full baths are located on the opposite side of the house for added privacy. A fireplace, whole house generator, boat lift, 9' ceilings, and oversized garage are just a few extra features this amazing property has to offer. Now is your chance to live on the water, and on the best street in all of Niceville! You owe it to yourself to see this waterfront beauty! Start living the Florida dream!

  • Bautisradesigns
"Nice place to live. Good elementary and middle schools. Small town. Strong community feel. Close ton"
  • Sgt_hojo
"It depends on the breed of dog being walked. Not all breeds get a friendly welcome from neighborhoods. "

"Folks seem friendly enough. I was born and raised here, I’ve lived here most all of my life. My family was the first people to our town. Which my grandfather, as well as my husband’s grandfather were one of 333 people here to name the town, “Niceville” "
  • Celia Walker

Annual Christmas parade usually the first saturday in December. Great firework display on the bayou- can be seen at Lions Park on Bayshore. Churches host a community trick or treat event. Events monthly and daily through the Senior Center for those 55+. Library usually holds book sales once or twice a year. Niceville Children’s park is a nice place to take the kids to play. Water toys are there as well. Schools are A plus in the state"
  • raley.parker
"Very dog friendly - lots of people walking their dogs and supporting dog owners. Not a lot of pet stores around. I make their food. "
  • Braeden S.
"Lots of sidewalks, just be cautious of some owners letting their dogs loose in the front yard to play when they are out front with them "
  • Nydeiawright
"People are always out walking their dogs and picking up behind them. There are sidewalks and trials throughout the Bluewater Bay community."
  • Nydeiawright
"There are lots of family friendly activities like the annual Christmas Parade, fireworks show, and kids fishing tournaments. There are lots of youth sports.. recreational and competitive and the school system is top rated. "

"I live just outside of town and always Drive my car to the stores and work also. I live in a typical neighborhood with families and retirees. There are some small children but they're very nice as well as respectful "
  • Trulia User
"Fairly dog friendly area it’s leashed pets allowed practically everywhere and som fenced dog runs close by. Rocky Bayou State Park staff at the window will almost always provide a kibble by request as long as they have them available. When the reopen :)"
  • Steven V.
"Big town conveniences with a small town feel...residents, at first guarded yet friendly, seem to open more with familiarity"
  • Steven W.
"Niceville is just like the name implies, NICE place for the entire community for all to enjoy. I appreciate the kindness each person extends to one another 💖🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
  • S
"Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park is a great place to walk your best furry friend with three safe nature trails to choose from and only require a 6 foot leash. Free pickup bags readily available at the trail heads, and if you ask at the Ranger station you will even get rewarded with a free treat for your pet. Just a small supportive entrance fee, and annual passes are available should you wish to make it a daily habit, as many do. "
  • Jessica L.
"A lovely place to live. I have never felt unsafe, by any means, granted I am very close to a school. I’ve never lived somewhere where the neighbors actually know each other, hang out, and watch each other’s back. Kids are always playing and walking to school together, a lovely river with a well maintained boardwalk within walking distance. Some noise from the super-cool planes that frequently pass right overhead, but other than that, 5 stars for the neighborhood by Edge Elementary. "
  • Steven W.
"Typical work day traffic is heavy but steady. It's definitely slower with school season but not overwhelming. "
  • Kenzarch24
"We have festivals and farmers markets, 5k runs, tons of stuff to do. It’s a great location. We feel incredibly safe here"
  • Cutbush
"Great place to walk dogs but if your dog isn’t friendly may be difficult since so many dogs are walked every afternoon"
  • Iliawestgate
"People love their dogs around here and frequently walk and play with them. People pick up after their pups too."
  • Iliawestgate
"Easy access to area attractions and interstate. Walking distance to grocery stores, shopping and dining."
  • Diego V.
"Love the location. A real home feel and beach locations not that far without the tourist traffic here. Everyone keeps to themselves but overall caring."
  • Daniel R.
"I’m not a parent so it’s an impossible question for me. The fact that I have to have 100 characters to post my review is pretty stupid. Trulia should really change this. Niceville wins over trulia for sure. No I’m just writing to finish the awful 100 characters. "
  • Evonne B.
"Ideal community away from All the heavy traffic in Destin. 10 minutes to beautiful white sandy beaches and turquoise water. Very friendly community for all age groups. "
  • Wandamc215
"My neighborhood is off a main north south residential road. No stoplights yet, just 4 way stops now. "
  • Wandamc215
"Traffic can be bad at times from the Mid Bay Bridge and 85 N out of town. Rush hour, such that it is, lasts about 1 1/2 hours. "
  • Pat L.
"I don't know the public transportation in this area. don't see it so it must not be very assessable "
  • Objers

  • GM
