my kids go to Bottenfield and we have had nothing short than an amazing experience, the staff is so engaged and everyone knows everyone. i do with there were more holiday programs available for the kids, it was sad that I didn't get to see my kindergarteners do any kind of holiday musical program or anything. other than that i have no complaints, my kids are happy and smart and love their school.

We moved to this school from out of state and this school is amazing. We have Mx. Smith and Mrs. Beckett and they have both been amazing teachers. I have never had a parent teacher conference with such a detailed report and recommendations on what areas our kids need to work on. They really go above and beyond here. We couldn't be happier!

Not terrible, aside from one major bad experience I had with some of the higher-up staff at this school (Assistant Principal), however I refuse to let that one outlier define my entire experience at the school.

Fights everyday, teachers who do the bare minimum (or not even). Obvious leatning gap. God I got into Uni High. Does not prepare you for highschool at all. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Entire Champaign school district is controlled by the intolerant left. There is a BLM sign on the door, and the teacher told me this was because they are "inclusive". Are you kidding me? Hence they get minimal ratings on Safety (they are not free from discrimination) and family engagement (King-era opinions are not welcome).I decided to move to a different city. Once someone is in the throes of the hard left, arguing is useless.

If you want your child to be attacked by other students and want your child to watch students attack teachers, then send your child to Westview where they will be trained to be a "wild cat."

I got traumatized by this mess of a school. I am a former student of this school.

The school has made a lot of improvements in recent years with regard to the quality of academics and instruction. The administration and teachers really care about making the school a good environment for students to learn. The school is one of the most diverse in the entire state and educates students from a wide array of backgrounds. They are also accommodating towards students with learning differences such as adhd and autism. However, it has recently been dealing with overcrowding due to population growth in the school district, along with the usual financial troubles that public schools face.

Terrible school. Some students stole my son money and gift from grandparents. Teacher did nothing. Some kids are extremely aggressive and bullying extreme ways and physically hurt other kids and they are good at hiding what they are doing that teachers can't notice who does the bad things. I had to transfer my son to different school that at least teachers handle the situation way better. Being in this school Was like a nightmare. My son learned bad languages that you can't even imagine. I do not recommend this school to anyone.
