I used to go here last year it's was terrible some days I will not get food even during lunch and the school is gross and un safe in the school kids will break rules and nobody did noting about it

I went to this school way back in the 80s. I only have such found memorise of my time here. Such a wonderful childhood they gave me.

My kid really likes this unlike other schools in the area this school has diversity in students

My child was bullied in this school and i remember her coming home with a black eye when she was only in 5th grade. Every classroom has its own bathroom but my daughter wanted to use the restroom and someone was in there and it was an emergency. So this teacher told her to use the bathroom in the hallway so she went in there and there was a group of girls who seemed to be friends and they had bullied her in the past. So my daughter just walked right past them to use the restroom and they asked her "Where do you think you're going" and she just ignored them and locked herself in the stall, before she could even do her business one of the girls walked in through the bottom of the stall and punched her and she punched her back, but my daughter was the one who got a black eye and not her. The girl who punched my daughter my daughter still remains a mistery since my daughter didn't know the bullies name and the school didn't do anything to help us.

My son goes here and loves it. He went from a C student at Diplomat Middle taking honors classes. He is now at Cape High in honors classes and he is now a Straight A student. The school offers a lot of trade classes and also College classes.

Shame on the school board letting students out to protest against ICE this is not teaching this is indoctrination

Great school. So far and for the past 3 years the level of communication during this time has been exceptional.The teachers I have dealt with have consistently been responsive, going above and beyond to ensure that my children's needs are met. Their commitment to effective communication has truly enhanced the educational experience.The staff members have been incredibly informative and helpful, providing valuable insights and addressing any concerns promptly. The principal's dedication to staying closely connected is great to see.I am also highly appreciative of the school's commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment the students.It's clear that they prioritize the well-being and development of the students.

I’m a former student here that left in march of 2019. and I was constantly getting bullied and the teachers didn’t do anything about it. And one of the teachers would give me a 0 on my assignments even after I turned my assignments in on time and she said it was because I had “bad handwriting” and she claimed she couldn’t read it at all I’m not gonna call out names but I’m sure if you’ve had her you know who I’m talking about and she wouldn’t regrade assignments after you turned them in again either and I have autism and ADHD and I would occasionally zone out in her class and she would yell at me to get my attention which really put me in fight or flight mode. Also if there was an ability to I would give this school a 0 star rating that’s how bad it was in my opinion! The only teacher who actually cared about what I was going through was my 7th grade civics teacher

I currently have 2 students at Ida S Baker. My oldest graduated in May from Ida. It is a wonderful school and teachers really care about their students. We personally have had a wonderful experience. Teacher, Principals, and staff are all friendly and very kind. Would definitley recommend this High School!

I was trying to make a simple student address change with Cora, but it was a complicated experience for me. If this is happening with simple processes, what could you expect from more complex processes?
