Posted by a community member on 7/23/2014While we have been blessed with wonderful teachers at Caloosa I have found the Administration to be less caring. They have started losing teachers in the past few years as well. I think that speaks volumes about the leadership.
Posted by a parent on 9/4/2013The staff is not very polite when asked questions. I called was asking a question and the lady just placed me on hold and then someone else picked up. Third time this happens, this is what our kids learn!!!! No respect. Very unhappy for a new parent of Kinder.

All the teachers have been great, there is structure and compassion. The principle is a gem! I would definitely recommend Caloosa elem

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child was bullied in this school and i remember her coming home with a black eye when she was only in 5th grade. Every classroom has its own bathroom but my daughter wanted to use the restroom and someone was in there and it was an emergency. So this teacher told her to use the bathroom in the hallway so she went in there and there was a group of girls who seemed to be friends and they had bullied her in the past. So my daughter just walked right past them to use the restroom and they asked her "Where do you think you're going" and she just ignored them and locked herself in the stall, before she could even do her business one of the girls walked in through the bottom of the stall and punched her and she punched her back, but my daughter was the one who got a black eye and not her. The girl who punched my daughter my daughter still remains a mistery since my daughter didn't know the bullies name and the school didn't do anything to help us.Parent Review6mo ago - Hector A. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school. Faith based & they have taught my child everything from talking to potty training. As far as curriculum, he has learned the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, art, music, and even a little Spanish. Most importantly, they have taught him manners. He always says please & thank you, bless you if someone sneezes. I cannot say enough positive things about this school & look forward to what’s to come.
