5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOnce Mr. Rhodes took over as Principal, the school has done a complete 180 and has become an amazing place that strives to truly help all the children that go to Lincoln. My daughter suffers from behavioral issues and prior to his promotion it was a miserable experience her Kindergarten and first grade years. With him at the helm, however, she has grown leaps and bounds both academically and behaviorally. Their Vice President is a former Special Education instructor and Mrs. Quill and Miss Meineke are amazing counselors who go above and beyond the call of duty for every child. The teachers and the Teacher Assistants, too, go to great lengths to try and make school a positive experience for the whole class. If a student is struggling they work WITH the parents to try and find a solution that will best work for that child. Overall, where once I would have said avoid this school, I would now say if you are looking for a school for your little one that genuinely cares, then you will find no better in the district than Lincoln.Other Review4y ago - Linganore High School

Communication from this administration is terrible and starts with the principal. The school has a web page it doesn't utilize for important announcements, rather insists on communication purely through Find Out First emails, which can flood your inbox. The administration allows themselves to be bullied by entitled parents which results in bad behavior by some students that negatively impacts those students that are actually interested in learning. Truly disappointing, when this school used to have a higher overall rating, and the nearby, east county middle schools are held in much higher regard, have better ratings and overall scores of 9-10. The elementary and high schools have solid 8 ratings while this school has allowed itself to dip from it's normal 8+ rating.Parent Review3y ago
