About this House

This huge 3- or 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom brick house is north of the campus in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of the A&M campus. It bears repeating; this house is huge. It features a contiguous, formal living room and dining room. These two areas have been used as a fourth bedroom by six of the last seven sets of tenants. The separate breakfast area is then used for dining and the den becomes the living room. All bedrooms are much larger than typical. The large kitchen is complete with a frost-free refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher, vent hood, pantry and breakfast bar. The house has hardwood floors in all rooms except in the breakfast area and den which are carpeted, the kitchen which has vinyl tile and the two bathrooms which have ceramic tile. The house has a central air conditioning and gas heating system. There is a washer and dryer in the utility/recreation room and a gas water heater. The recreation room is large enough for a pool or ping-pong table. The house has enormous amounts of storage and built-ins. The back yard is fenced and features a concrete patio and lots of trees. A large metal storage building is also in the back yard. Pets are allowed. Move-in date may be flexible.

Directions: From University Dr., take Nagle St. past the Catholic Church down the hill to the stop sign at Foch St. Turn left, go one block and turn right onto Oaklawn. The house is at the far end of the street on the left.
