"Accessible to local Walmart and grocery store. Near hiking trails. Family friendly. Family desirable. Many dog owners, yet a few complaints about barking. A bit of a wait for snowplows and power goes out every so oftbe"
  • Samantha S.
"I don't personally know my neighbors, don't even know most of their names. But they know my car and I know theirs and we always exchange a smile and wave when passing by. It's a simple gesture that makes me feel like welcome. "
  • Kevinroyhall

"My neighborhood has pretty good transportation! There are bus stops just down the street. Most everything else you do need a car for though. "
  • Pam
"I like that I’m only a mile from several stores and walking distance to Audubon Park. Neatly kept houses and kids playing. Dogs only in fenced yards. "
  • Jaime K.
"There's not really any community events aside from school and church functions, however, the people in the neighborhood are friendly and look after one another. We have kids between the ages of 7 and 14, so the schools being close enough to walk is a plus!"
  • Bstevens3030
"I've lived here 8 years. The people here watch out for each other. You can take a bus everywhere you need to go if you don't have a car. Everything you would need is close by but the area isn't too congested."
  • Marriah M.
"I lived in this neighborhood for 21 years and it was the best years of my life. Great friendly neighbors who are willing to help out, like when we had that big power outage in Spokane people in this neighborhood had extension chords running acrossed the street in order to lend power to those who didn't have it. I wouldn't trade the years I spent in this neighborhood for any amount of money."
  • Marcia M.
"Spokane is a small, big city, just right. Downtown has Riverfront Park which is family oriented with it's famous carousal, IMAX, skating rink. (A world's fair was held here, so we have lots of beautiful clean parks, activities and entertainment. I love living here!"
  • fleischmannkl
"I have lived in the area for 7 years this is such a great community with great Bungalows & Craftsman Homes. Restaurants Coffee Shop Parks Golf all in walking distance. Eclectic mix of neighbors of all ages Kid friendly Pet Friendly & a safe area! I see this area becoming one of the most desirable areas to live it is getting better & better every year."
