What Locals Say about Ginter Park
- Trulia User

"Many residents have dogs and walk them frequently. The neighborhood has sidewalks, trees lining the walks to provide shade and some cover from weather, most dog walkers are courteous and follow leash laws and pickup dog waste."

"Need a car to live here, but most anything is a 5 min drive. No surprise, this is consistent with rest of richmond."
- Silent526

"Lots of other dog owners, and people are good about keeping a dog on leash and keeping a distance if not good with other dogs. "

"Lived here 21 years, a quick bike ride to the river, a slow walk in the park, this neighborhood is in the middle of it all. "

"close to work shopping and public transportation I also think it's a nice area of town very conveniently located to everything that is essential for a neighborhood at this kind "

"I live here and it’s a good area. You can get to most places. The bus line is here which is very helpful."

"We moved here from the Fan 6 months ago. We love the true neighborhood feel....sidewalks....old trees......friendly neighbors. We love riding our bikes and are members of the neighborhood pool. It is a perfect place to play and live. "
- Deborah B.

"Diversified in its architectural styles! Sidewalks allow you to walk to a pool at Lewis Ginter Recreation Center! Quiet yet easy access to the interstate. Less than 10 minutes to Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Union and close to Union Theological Seminary. On the next block are mansions and the block after this one homes get smaller. A value for the money here in this area!"
